Mary E. Crouse, 92, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully Friday, October 25, 2024. Born in Bay View, MD on August 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Emma Mann Grant.

Mrs. Crouse, along with her late husband, Harold, owned Crouse Construction where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Newark Kiwanis Club and the Ladies Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed painting, reading, baking, and canning.

Survivors include her sons, Harold Crouse, Jr. (Linda), and Timothy Crouse; and granddaughter, Melissa Crouse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold D. Crouse, Sr.; and brothers, Howard and Arthur Grant.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 9 AM.

Interment will be held 10 AM, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
