Obituary

Martha "Nadine" Allen, 78, formerly of Elkton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Born in Elkton on October 30, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Spence Allen.

Nadine retired after many years of dedicated work as an assembler at AstraZeneca. A longtime and faithful member of Elkton United Methodist Church, she was active in her congregation and lived a life guided by faith. Nadine's greatest joy was her family and her beloved dog, Rudy, who passed away several years ago but always held a special place in her heart. Nadine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Charles Lee (Suzanne), Wilmington, DE, Scott Lee (Jackie), Union Beach, NJ, Denise Lee (Ron), Middletown, DE, Shawn Lee, San Francisco, CA, and E. Marc Gonzalez (Deanna), Ephrata, PA; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin Allen.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Elkton United Methodist Church at the above address.
