Marlene McMahon, 90, of Berlin, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Born in Elkton, MD on November 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Reuben W. and Hazel Rothwell Johnson.

Marlene enjoyed traveling, life at the beach, and most of all spending time with her beloved family. An active member of her community, she volunteered at the Ocean Pines Library and Shepards Crook Outreach Center. She also enjoyed playing games and solving puzzles with her grandchildren. Marlene asks family and friends to perform random acts of kindness in her memory.

Survivors include her children; Thomas C. McMahon (Allison), Elkton, MD, David A. McMahon (Diane), Elkton, MD, William E. McMahon (Sandra), Elkton, MD, Reuben V. McMahon, Clayton, DE, William W. Roff (Kathy), New Castle, DE, Joseph F. McMahon (Penny), Berlin, MD, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, William E. McMahon and sister, Audrey McDonough.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM in the Church Chapel. Interment will be private.
