Margaret "Peggy" Young Wiggins, 85, of Elkton, MD passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Born in Bakersville, NC on June 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Phil R. and Verna Slagle Young.

Peggy retired after 29 years from Cecil County Public Schools where she was an Office Assistant and General Assistant at Elkton Middle School. She enjoyed reading the bible, loved the Lord, and was known to always put her family first, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Wiggins Thompson, and Frank Wiggins, Jr., both of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Jason Thompson, and Timothy Couzens; great-grandchildren, Liam Couzens, and Kellan Couzens; siblings, Ronald Young, and Nancy Criddle; and our special cousin, Randy Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank Wiggins, Sr.; and sister, Gladys Main.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Friday, March 22, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Private interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
