Margaret "Peggy" Louise Hicks, age 92, of Lewisville, PA, passed away, Saturday, August 16, 2025. Born in New London, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas T. and Eva V. Hawks Dawson.

Margaret dedicated her career to Penn Fuel Gas, Inc. in Oxford, where she worked faithfully for 38 years in roles as a secretary and later in Procurement, retiring in 1999.

She was a devoted, long-time member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Lewisville, where she actively participated in the Choir, Call to Worship, Missions, and also served as Secretary. Margaret found great joy in reading, boating on the river at Carpenter's Point, spending time at the beach, bowling, and square dancing.

Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend. Her warmth, dedication, and joyful spirit touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Diane Stiles, Fort Myers, FL, and W. Jeffery Hicks (Sue Ellen), Lewisville, PA; grandchildren, Hanna Stiles Moore (Adam), Danielle Nicole Williams (Eric), Alisa Jay Sammons (Mike); great-grandchildren, Joe, Payten, Gavin, Paisley, Luke, and Olivia; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, William (Bill) Hicks; sisters, Ellen and Sarah; brother, Tommy; and son-in-law, Dolph Stiles.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment in St. John's Methodist Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
