Lorraine Elizabeth Barlow, 80, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on May 19, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Sr. and Mary Timko Stigle.

Lorraine retired from Cecil County Public Schools where she had worked in the Elkton High School cafeteria for 12 years. She brightened the days of countless students with her smile and meals. Lorriane also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading, sewing and creating beautiful needlepoint pieces.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Barlow, Jr. (Rosemary), Elkton, MD; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Maralee Barlow, Colora, MD, and Pauline Padgett, Suffolk, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Barlow; daughter, Grace Elizabeth Barlow; son, Walter Douglas Barlow; grandson, Walter Douglas Jackson; and brother, Edwin Stigle, Jr.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, June 17, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10AM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
