Linda Gail Ball Fleming, 71, of Elkton, MD, passed away on September 21, 2023. Born in Williamson, WV on March 24, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John Jr., and Helen Blackburn Ball.

Mrs. Fleming was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired after 11 years as an assembler for W.L. Gore and Associates and enjoyed the rest of her life as a homemaker. Mrs. Fleming also previously worked at Food Lion and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Hope Mills, NC and Fellowship Baptist in Elkton, MD. She loved sewing and crocheting in her spare time.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Lawrence D. Fleming; children, Michele Bailey, Elkton, MD, Lawrence D. Fleming, II, Peach Bottom, PA; grandchildren, Kelsey Roark (John Miller, III), Stephanie Fleming, A.J. Fleming, Kamber Fleming; great-grandsons, Brantley Miller, and Maverick Miller; and her sister, Sue Roe (Jerry), Conowingo, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Gentry.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD 21921. Interment will be private.
