Linda Grace Blake, 69, of Newark, DE passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  Born in Chicago, IL on July 5, 1952, she was the daughter of the late George and Irene Elisen Heckman.

Mrs. Blake was a home health aide who loved helping others.  She enjoyed storytelling and having good conversation.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Cecil E. Blake; children, Charles D. Blake (Cynkia), St. Cloud, FL and Kimberly Blake, Newark, DE; grandchildren, Jaunair, Ki'Yarre, Leah, Keymonii, Micah, Noah, Qori, A'vi, Zipporah, Memphis, and Sarah; sisters, Dorine, Ruthie, Mary and Pattie and goddaughter, Chante (Trish) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blake was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
