Lawrence Clifford Garrison, Jr., 80, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Born in Bakersfield, CA on May 15, 1943, he was the son of the late Lawrence Clifford Sr. and Bernice Castro Garrison.

Mr. Garrison retired as a Warehouse Distribution Manager at Astra Zeneca after 36 years. In his younger years he participated in the R.O.T.C. program in Bakersfield, CA, and played the tuba in the Elkton High School band. He was a dedicated spouse, father, friend, and a mentor to many. Mr. Garrison enjoyed traveling, old cars, motorcycles, and music, especially jukeboxes.

Survivors include his children, Michelle Martin, Mona Scott, both of Elkton, MD, Lawrence C. Garrison, III (Sarah), Newark, DE; grandchildren, Steven G. Martin, Jr., Julian Garrison, Logan Garrison; sisters, Arlene Lort, Port St. Lucie, FL, and Carol Smith (Earl), Oxford, PA.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by loving wife of 57 years, Wanda Main Garrison; and his infant brother, Dennis Garrison.

Funeral service and interment will be private in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
