Laurie Ann Sheffler Loggins, 63, of Newark, DE passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Born in Hagerstown, MD, on November 17, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and J. Delores Murray Sheffler.

Laurie spent many years serving with care and dedication as a cafeteria lady in the Christina School District in Delaware. She loved gardening, collecting unique treasures, crafting, and playing bingo. Most of all, she treasured the time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness. Laurie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jo Loggins; sons, Bobby Joe Loggins Jr. (Krista), Rising Sun, MD, and Fred Loggins, Newark, DE; grandchildren, Fred Jr., Aiden, and Stella Jolene; and sisters, Cindy Johnson (Walter), Elkton, MD, and Melody Sheffler, Middletown, DE.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Jr., Gary, and Artie.

Visitation only will be held from 5 PM–7 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Cecil County, or to the American Heart Association, in care of Hicks Home for Funerals at the above address.
