Larry Lee May, 72, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born in West Chester, PA, on October 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Arlie Lee and Dolly Ruth Bass May.

Mr. May was a devout Christian whose faith guided his life and relationships. He found great joy in singing and playing the guitar, often sharing his music with those around him. Above all else, Mr. May loved his children and grandchildren immensely, and his devotion to his family was evident in everything he did.

Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Alexis Carol Steward May; children, Brandi Noon (Brandon), Lewes, DE, and Ryan May, Pueblo, CO; grandchildren, Dominick Pierce Pryor, Jasmine Angele Noon, Isabel Marie Noon, Juliana Rose Noon, Nolan Grant Noon, Cameron Leigh Daniels, and Ryan Lee May-Harrell, Jr.; siblings, Patricia "Patty" Diane Reber (Harold), Oxford, PA, and Bruce "Butch" May, Oxford, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. May was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald "Scochee" May and Barry May.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
