Larry M. Beamer, 77, of Elkton, MD passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. Born in Newark, DE on July 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Gerald Beamer, Sr. and Neva Dean Beamer.

A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a recipient of the Purple Heart, he served with the 199th Light Infantry Brigade.  Following his military service, Mr. Beamer worked as a printer for Westvaco and later at the University of Delaware. He enjoyed gardening and working outdoors, finding peace and purpose in nature.  Mr. Beamer was an active and faithful member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his wife, Linda, with whom he shared more than 54 years of marriage, as well as his children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Barnett Beamer, sons; Justin K. Beamer (Becky), Elkton, MD and Eric B. Beamer (Krystal), Elkton, MD, grandchildren; Cody Beamer, Cole Beamer, Kami Beamer, Ruby Duvall (Andrew), Emma Beamer, Max Beamer, Rocky Beamer, and Ceci Beamer, great-grandchildren; Micah Duvall and Lucy Duvall, and brother; Kenny Beamer (Sharon), Wilmington, DE.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Gerald "Bob" Beamer, Jr. and William "Butch" Beamer, and sisters; Juanita Brown and Loretta Adkins.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, 303 W. Christine Road, Nottingham, PA  19362, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Nottingham, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Nottingham Missionary Baptist church building fund at the above address.
