Obituary

Kimberly Dawn Street-Bowles, 57, of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Born in Wilmington, DE on September 22, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Catherine E. Mayew Street.

A lifelong resident of Cecil County, Kim was an active member of the Singerly Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she faithfully served as recording secretary. She was also deeply involved with the Cecil County Ladies Auxiliary, serving as treasurer, historian, and chaplain. Her commitment to her community and fellow auxiliary members reflected her generous spirit and willingness to serve others. Kim shared her love of sports and mentorship as a cheer coach for the Cherry Hill and KXA, encouraging and inspiring young athletes. She was also a talented crafter who turned her passion into a business, establishing Kim's Kreations. Kim loved camping, taking beach trips, and enjoyed social outings with friends. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

Survivors include her loving fiancé: Sam Bowlsbey, children: Matthew Bowles, Elkton, MD, Sarah Bowles, Elkton, MD, and Rachel Merendino (Andrew), Elkton, MD, granddaughters: Zoey and Sophie and their mother Jessica Mallory, nieces: Chrissy (Tom), Catie (Robbie), Courtney, Alexis, Leighanne, and Miranda, nephews: Michael Jr. and Greg, great-niece and nephews: Kolton, Luka, and Kora, siblings: Theresa Street, Newark, DE, Michael Street, Rehoboth, DE, and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: B.J. Street, nephew: John Patrick Gross, and paternal grandmother: Mom-Mom Jenkins.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to Sarah Bowles to aid in the care of Zoey Bowles.
