Kevin Richard Wyatt, 61, of Newark, DE, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on January 1, 1964, in Milford, DE, he was the son of Betty Walls Hales and Raymond H. Hales, Sr., and the late Richard E. Wyatt.

Mr. Wyatt was a hardworking truck driver who took pride in his work and in providing for those he loved. Outside of work, he enjoyed the thrill of drag racing and was an avid fan of NASCAR. He also loved cheering on his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies. More than anything, he treasured the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his children, Amanda Arches (Chris), Brett Wyatt (Cortney), and Jacob Wyatt; brothers, Raymond H. Hales, Jr. (Wendy) and Chris A. Hales (Shelley); sister, Sally A. O'Brien (Kevin); niece, Jennifer (Joe); nephews, Justin (Nicole) and Jason (Jason); and grandchildren, Caden Arches, Gracelynn Wyatt, and Mikayla Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Howe Wyatt; son, Brian Scott Wyatt; sister, Karen R. Angelo; brother, Kenneth R. Wyatt; and father, Richard E. Wyatt.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 West Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Interment at North East United Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD, will be private.
