Kelly Marie Jackson, 38, of Newark, DE, passed away, Tuesday, November 15, 2022.  Born in Wilmington, DE, on March 30, 1984, she was the daughter of Arthur L. Jackson, Jr., and his wife Leah, and the late Lucy Boulden.

A stay-at-home mother, Kelly loved writing poems and scrapbooking, but nothing compared to the love she had for her son, Trapper. He was the most important thing in her life.

In addition to her father and his wife, Kelly is survived by her son, Trapper Wheatley; siblings, Carrie Jackson (Sincere), and Amber Israel; grandmothers, Bernice Jackson, Lillie Boulden, and Sandy Aro; aunts and uncles, Larry Jackson (Bonnie), Debbie Settlemyre, Cindy Edwards (Randy), Kathleen Miller (Tommy), Sharon Jackson, Cyndi "Dutch" Boulden, and Renee Dollar (Trent); nieces and nephews, Andrew, Kingston, Anthony, Jasmine, and Skylar; and numerous cousins. Kelly is also survived by her companion, Tim Wheatley; his children, T.J. and Alexus; and his mother, Jen.

In addition to her mother, Kelly is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Arthur "Snook" Jackson, John C. Boulden, and Edward Aro, Jr.; uncles, John Boulden, David Settlemyre, and Brian "Hurricane" Aro; and aunt, Bonny Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2022, at VFW Post 7687, 304 Basil Avenue, Chesapeake City, MD  21915.
