June Mageline Charsha Baker, 90, of Chancellor, AL, formerly of Elkton, MD, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Born in Perryville, MD on June 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hemple and Mary Ellen Angle Charsha. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her 4 children, Penny Karnes, Chesterfield, VA, Candace Walton (Tim), North East, MD, Mary Pridgen (Steve), Chancellor AL, and Howard Baker Jr., Claymont, DE; 7 grandchildren, Keith Dalgarn (Susan), Kass Walton, Shannon Karnes, Alicia Karnes, Kimberley Karnes, Eric Baker, and Christina Baker; 9 great-grandchildren, Madison Dalgarn, Adam Dalgarn, Domenick Rathof, Harrison Rathof, Cecily Rathof, Hazel Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Anthony Baker, and Ann Baker-Eminger; special niece, Mary Faye Parker Morello (Jim), as well as numerous other nieces and nephews and the entire John Quincie Pridgen family who loved her so well for 46 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Baker Sr., and daughter, Rebecca Ann Hash.

Graveside service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
