Judith "Judy" Jensen Lawson, 73, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Born in Wilmington, DE on October 3, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Wenke Jensen.

Judy spent many years as an Assistant Manager in the banking industry and later retired after a long and successful career. Beyond her professional life, she had many passions. She was a talented chair caner, skillfully restoring old furniture with a keen eye for detail. Judy was also an avid reader and loved watching HGTV. But her greatest joy in life was her family, she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, and her love for them was immeasurable.

Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, William Lawson Sr.; children, Kelly Doolan (Jeff), Westminster, MD, Francis DiMaio III "Jamie" (Kim), Newark, DE, Christopher DiMaio (Casey), Tijeras, NM, Allan Parlier (Chanon), Cape Coral, FL, William Lawson Jr. (Shaena), and Brandon Lawson (Shauna), both of Elkton, MD; 19 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cecil County Senior Center at 200 Chesapeake Blvd, Elkton, MD 21921.
