Joseph Phillip Quinn, 71, of Elkton, MD passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023. Born in Schuylkill Township, PA on September 21, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph and Mary Margaret Lacey Quinn.

Having served in the Delaware National Guard from 1970-1976, Mr. Quinn later retired after 40 years as a receiver at Acme Markets. He was an avid car, motorcycle, drag racing, street rod, and NASCAR enthusiast. He loved fishing and traveling, especially to Key West and the Outer Banks. Mr. Quinn also enjoyed watching sports, especially Notre Dame football and the WNBA.

Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Rita Coyle Quinn; children, Edward Ryan (Jeffrey), Riverside, CA, Kimberly Hughes (Donald Morton), Dover, DE, Sherry Proctor (Benjamin), Phoenixville, MD; and his granddaughter, Logan Hughes.

Prayer service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
