Joseph Elace Koch, Sr., 74, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Born in Phoenixville, PA on May 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Stella Rickey Koch.

Joseph was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country with honor, and later retired from a distinguished career in information technology at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. He continued to give back to his community as an active member of the VFW Post 1564 in Phoenixville, PA, and the American Legion Post in Perryville, MD. Joseph found joy in woodworking and working on computers.

Survivors include his grandson, Jasin Koch; and siblings, Paul Koch, Malvern, PA, Jerome Koch, Phoenixville, PA, and Charles Koch, Pottstown, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Jane Stover Koch; children, Joseph E. Koch, Jr., and Jayna M. Koch; and brother, Michael Koch.
