Joseph Scott Crowe, 44, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Born in St. Louis, MO on March 7, 1980, he was the son of Daniel and Rita Crowe Shinneman, Elkton, MD.

Joseph was a senior computer engineer at Comcast, where he spent over 10 years contributing his expertise to the company. His professional journey was marked by his pursuit of knowledge, culminating in the achievement of his master's degree, which he obtained with distinction and used to further his career in the tech industry. Outside of work, Joseph was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed computer gaming. He leaves behind a legacy of memories with friends and his family who will forever carry his spirit with them.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughters, Cecilia and Emilia Crowe, and their mother, Jazmine, all of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Christina Shinneman, Elkton, MD; nephew, Nathan; nieces, Tabatha and Anastasia; and great-niece, Rosemary.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Shinneman.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be private.
