Johnnie Darrell Carpenter, Jr., age 54, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022. Born in Elkton, MD, on January 4, 1967, he was the son of Johnnie D., Sr. and Dawn E. Viers Carpenter.

Mr. Carpenter worked as a kitchen aide at NorthBay, North East, MD. An avid Baltimore Ravens fan, he enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing, and cutting wood.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Natasha Carpenter (Greg Johnston), Elkton, MD; brother, Ronald Carpenter (Shawn Hendrickson), Elkton, MD; nephew, Ronald Carpenter, Jr.; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
