John Darrell Pugh, 81, of Elkton, MD passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.  Born in Piney Creek Township, NC, he was the son of the late Jones Pugh and Lillian Church Pugh.

Mr. Pugh had been the owner/operator of a sawmill.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and being with family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pugh was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Helen Taylor Pugh, and son, Michael Pugh.

Survivors include his daughter, Tina N. Barber and husband, Steven, Rising Sun, MD; grandchildren, David Duvall, Mike Pugh Jr., Brantley Barber and Kaylee Barber and great grandchildren, Giselle, Aaliyah, Leanna and Gabriel.

Graveside service will be held 2 PM, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at North East Methodist Cemetery, 101 Cemetery Church Road, North East, MD.
