John Anthony Davis, 57, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024. Born in Newton, TX on July 14, 1967, he was the son of the late Don Davis and Mary Hamm Rainer.

John had worked as a commercial floor installer for many years until his retirement. He found joy in yard work and gardening, always transforming the landscape of his home. John was also a known history buff and enjoyed sharing fascinating stories and insights to everyone around him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Paula Stout Davis; children, Matthew Davis, Brooke Davis, both of Rising Sun, MD, and Hope Davis (fiancé, Chris Bucher), Galloway, NJ; grandson, Oliver Bucher; and siblings, Donald Davis, Ronald Davis, Judy Davis Gravley, Michael Davis, Jessica Rainer-Sumner, Jackie Rainer, and George Rainer.

Memorial service will be held 2 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Interment will be private.
