Jasper Bryant, 71, of Elkton, MD passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister whom he loved and missed dearly. While Jasper didn't have biological family left on this earth, he created chosen family wherever he went.

At the time of his death, Jasper worked as a Facilities Laborer for Cecil County Government and was stationed at the Circuit Court for Cecil County. He was a hard worker, believed that everything could look new if it had a fresh coat of paint, and always made sure things were clean and tidy. Jasper was always making his co-workers smile and considered them his family. He made other strong, lifelong connections with friends at the Cecil County Health Department where he spent time volunteering, and with co-workers from James E Strates Carnival shows where he worked as a ride operator.

Jasper was born on the Fourth of July and much like fireworks, always brought light and joy to every room he walked in. He was a dedicated Washington Commanders fan and loved old television shows, The Rifleman, I Love Lucy, and Petticoat Junction, to name a few. Jasper had a big heart and was always ready to help others in need. He will be remembered fondly and greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, Monday, May 8, 2023, in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Appleton Road, Elkton, MD.
