Jason Lee Lannen, 52, of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Born in Williamsport, PA on May 16, 1974, he is the son of Charles Lannen and Pamela Wertz Bradley.
Jason was a hardworking man who was loved by many. He played football 2nd through 12th grade and later enjoyed playing in the adult softball league at Pine Grove. He also enjoyed riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes. Jason was truly a jack-of-all-trades and could build a house from the ground up. He took pride in his work and was loved and appreciated by all the customers he worked for. Jason had a generous heart and gave his time to help others. He was an active volunteer with the Paris Foundation, helping serve Christmas and Thanksgiving meals to those in need.
Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years; Mary Kyger Lannen, son; Jayden Michael Lee Lannen, sister; Stacey Pyburn (Charles) and their children; Amie, Justin, Jeremy, Austin and Gabby, brother; Wayne Lannen (Melissa) and their son; Issac, stepfather; John Lombard, and stepmother; Linda Lannen.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Charles and Bernice Lannen and Maynard and Josphine Brown.
Funeral service will be held 6 PM, Monday, August 17, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 5 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
