(Most knew him as "Hillbilly")

Jason E. Hill Sr., affectionately known to many as "Hillbilly," passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, following recent medical complications. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where loved ones can gather to honor his memory.

Jason's wife of 19 years, Christine Sweetman Hill, along with their children, Jason Hill Jr. and Aubrey Hill, are heartbroken by his passing. He was the rock of their family and will be deeply missed every single day.

A lifelong, die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, Jason also cheered with heart for the Phillies. Known for his huge heart and even bigger laugh, he found his greatest joy in spending time with the people he loved most. Family meant everything to him.

Jason is survived by his father, Bilton Hill, and stepmother, Linda; and by Julie Hill, who lovingly adopted and raised him after the passing of his biological mother, Patsy Kegley, in 1988, when Jason was just 7 years old.

He is also survived by his brother, Jeffery Hill (Bre); stepsisters, Brooke Bower and Jenna Scarpelli (Victor); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he was very close to and loved deeply. His extended family and close friends were a true source of joy and connection in his life.

Jason touched countless lives. The loss of his presence is felt deeply by all who knew him—a man with a heart as big as his laugh and a love that will live on in the memories of those he leaves behind.
