Janice "Jan" Marlyn Cochran, 63, of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Born in Elkton, on August 14, 1960, she was the daughter of the late John Jr. and Mae Berry Grant.

Jan had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures, including crocheting, canning, and gardening. Her greatest joy was found in the company of her loved ones, she cherished family dinners, making everyone laugh, and especially time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer Mayberry (Kenny), and Bradley Justice (Lauren); grandchildren, Kenny Robinson, Makayla Perez, Bradley Justice, Jr., and Daniel Justice; siblings, Alan Grant, and Terry Davis (Blake); companion, Jeff Hatfield; and her cat, Salem.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Cochran; son Daniel Mayberry; and brother, Brian Grant.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 12, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD.
