Janet Rae Carroll, 78, of Lake Wales, FL passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on October 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Peggy Jaquette.

Janet moved from Maryland to Florida in 2005. She was a Registered Nurse and opened her own healthcare facility for children and had previously been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of Delaware. Janet was an amazing wife, loved to travel, go to the beach, cook, and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Charles "Bill" Carroll; children, David Carroll (Jeanne), St. Petersburg, FL, and Melissa Cappelli (Dante, II), West Chester, PA; grandchildren, Dante Cappelli, III, Matthew Cappelli, David Cappelli, Kimberly Carroll, Kasey Gordon, and Kristen Carroll; and great-grandchildren, Theodore, Olivia, and Bennett.

Memorial service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church, 1100 W. Church Road, Newark, DE 19711, with visitation beginning at 10 AM.
