Jane Stover Koch, 71, of Elkton, MD passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 12, 1952, she was the daughter of the late David Joseph and Mary Kindon Stover.

Mrs. Koch, a U.S. Navy veteran, proudly served her country. Following her military service, she pursued her passion for healthcare and earned her master's degree in nursing and became a Nurse Practitioner at Perry Point VA Hospital. Mrs. Koch was actively involved in various veterans' organizations, including the VFW Auxiliary Post 1564 in Phoenixville, PA, and the American Legion Post 135 in Perryville, MD. In her spare time, she found joy in creative pursuits, particularly crafting, card making, and crocheting.

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph E. Koch, Sr.; grandson, Jasin Koch; and brother, David Stover (Judith), North Fort Myers, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Joseph E. Koch, Jr., and Jayna M. Koch.

Visitation will be held from 2 PM – 3 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with Military Honors beginning at 3 PM. Funeral service and interment will be private.
