James "Flash" Wallace Connolly, Sr., 82, of Naples FL, passed away on September 21, 2023. Born in Scranton, PA on December 23, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles and Louisa Marcy Connolly.

Mr. Connolly retired after 30 years as a mechanic for Holt Cargo in Philadelphia, PA. He was an avid fisherman and loved crabbing. A train collector in his early years, he was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Fort Myers, FL.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Elaine A. Connolly; children, Debra Connolly Shearer (Robert), Mullica Hill, NJ, Catherine Connolly (Robert), Hi-Nella, NJ, James W. Connolly, Jr.(Dorothea), Naples, FL; step-children, Gail Stone (Jay), Jeffrey Mills, both of Mullica Hill, NJ, Lorraine Mills (Andrea), Bridgeport, NJ; grandchildren, Ryan Connolly, Anna Shearer; step-grandchildren, Christine, Joseph, Brian, Kevin, Robert, Jeffrey, Carley, Jayson, James, Samuel, Gregory, Edward, Alexis, Jacob, Olivia; step-great-grandchildren, Killian, Harley, Lily, Evi, Jori; and sibling, Caroline Hobson, Burlington, NJ, and sister-in-law, Joy Connolly, Pennsauken, NJ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Connolly.
