James Santo Sottnick, age 43, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. Born in Willingboro, NJ, on April 14, 1978, he was the son of Donna M. Scalzo Becker (Timothy), and the late James J. Sottnick.

Mr. Sottnick had served in the U.S. Army and worked as a laborer for Amtrak. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing water sports.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, survivors include his son, James S. Sottnick, Jr, Cleveland, OH, and brothers, Kristopher Sottnick, and Shane Becker, both of Elkton, MD.

In addition to his father, Mr. Sottnick is preceded in death by his brother, T.J. Becker.

Memorial mass with interment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD, will be private.
