Inza Ann Mahaffey, "Ann", 86, of Elk Mills, MD passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Born in West Chester, PA on January 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Latham and Freda McCalister.

Ann was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant who dedicated many years of caring service to residents at Pocopson Home.  She was very family-oriented and found her greatest joy in time spent with her loved ones, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, reading, doing puzzles, and taking trips to Delaware Park.

Survivors include her children; Linda D. Parks (Dave Johnson), Lincoln University, PA, James E. Eldreth, Jr. (Kim), Elk Mills, MD, Danny T. Eldreth (Sandy), Quarryville, PA, and Emma Lee Eldreth (Butch), Elkton, MD, grandchildren; Rachael Cimino, James Eldreth III, Lacey Ross, and Daniel Eldreth, great-grandchildren; Olivia, Mackenzie, Nelli, Eva, and Miya.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mahaffey was preceded in death by her husband; Larry Mahaffey, her first husband; James E. Eldreth, Sr, brother; William Latham, Jr, and sister; Betty Arnold.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 2, 2026, at New Hope Baptist Church, 676 Elk Mills Road, Elk Mills, MD, 21920, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Kemblesville Cemetery, Kemblesville, PA.
