Heather Ann Stacy Elmer, 46, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on September 9, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Havre de Grace, MD on November 7, 1977, she was the daughter of Kansas "Kay" Stacy, Chambersburg, PA, and the late Richard Elmer.

Heather was a gifted artist, having attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia and the Delaware College of Art & Design. Her creative talents extended into her professional life, where she had worked as a marketing manager at Elysian, LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Heather was known by the ones closest to her for being a gourmet cook and relished in the experience of fine dining whenever she could. She had a love for museums, antiques, and creating beautiful flower and plant gardens.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her brother, Allen Elmer and wife, Christine; and special cousin, Michael Beaty and wife, Melissa.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David and Rhoda Charles Stacy; and aunt, Carol Beaty.

Memorial service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Interment will be private.
