Gretchen May Gomoll, 82, of Elkton, MD passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. Born in Toledo, OH on January 9, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Angela Sherwin Reinhart.

Gretchen spent her life nurturing her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. Her passions included caring for her beloved cats, baking delicious treats, and tending to her garden, where she found peace and joy. She had a heart full of love, always sharing her home and meals with others. Gretchen's kindness, generosity, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Molly Brookshire (John), Rising Sun, MD, and Kimi Gomoll (Jeff), Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Levi and Kota; her siblings, Craig and Marty Gerhart, Theresa and Jim Blewett, Christy and Kenny DeCant, Father Robert Reinhart, Molly and Kevin Reinhart, Bud and Rita Reinhart, Bill and Beverly Reinhart, and Jan and Brenda Reinhart; and her special friends, Bob and Ruthalee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Timothy Gomoll.
