Gregory Dennis Baker, age 69, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. Born in Sedgwick, KS, on January 22, 1952, he was the son of the late Donald R. and Virginia R. Wider Baker.

Mr. Baker retired from ISST Company in Pennsylvania, where he was an electrician. Devoted to his family, he was a loving, kind, and generous soul and would help anyone in need. Mr. Baker enjoyed playing football and could be found cheering on his beloved Chiefs.

He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Kathleen J. Dean; his children, Shannon Conners (Chris), Medford, NJ, Jeff S. Baker (Dawn), Elkton, MD, Jennifer Baker, Shamong, NJ, and Melissa Bogert (Jeff), Atco, NJ; and his eleven grandchildren; as well as  Kathy's children, Laurie Thomas (Ron), Suzanne Matthews, and Elizabeth McCabe (Paul), all of Elkton, MD, Kevin McClane (Sue), Perryville, MD; and her two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Roger Baker (Vickie), Atlanta, GA, David Baker (Allison), and Connie Peters (Don), both of Silver Spring, MD.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
