Gordon Lee Mann, 90, of Elkton, MD passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born in Elk Mills, MD on May 14, 1933, he was the son of the late Harry and Elsie Sydell Mann.

Mr. Mann retired from E.P. Howell where he had worked as a heavy equipment operator. Outside of work, he enjoyed horseback riding, bowling, had a knack for making people laugh which brought him joy, and was known as a professional dumpster diver. Gordon was also extremely dedicated and made it his daily mission to ensure all wildlife on his property were fed each day.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Joyce Rhoades Mann; children, April Mann, Ronald Mann (Kimberly Emmett), and Cathy Verne; stepchildren, Robert Lockard, Jr. (Christine Moran), Charlene Ritzel (Patrick), Diane Hall (Thomas, Sr.), Joycelyn Rivera (Greggory, Sr.), and Amy Rust (Brent Hughes); grandchildren, Christopher Mann (Brandi Hague), Christy Kluh (Tom), and Megan Verne; step grandchildren, Jessica Lockard, Sydney Ritzel, Emma Ritzel, Michael Jones (Daniela), Thomas Hall, Jr. (Kristin), Jamie Bays, Brandy Rust, Mason Rust, and Aubree Rust; great-grandchildren, Jadyn Mann, Connor Laurie, Alex Kluh, Tanner Kluh, and Morgan Kluh; and step great-granddaughter, Raelynn Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry, Earl, and Leonard "Pee Wee" Mann.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM-7 PM, Monday April 29, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals at the above address. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD.
