Gloria J. Willen, 80, of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. Born in Elkton on November 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Matilda Swanson Durham.

Mrs. Willen retired as a seamstress for JCPenney. She loved cats, being with her family, playing scratch-offs, and going to the Casino.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Welcher (Eric), Robin Harrington (Dwayne), Woody Woodruff (Dawn), T.J. Woodruff (Gina), Sandy Willen, and Jay Willen, Jr.; grandchildren, Dale, Amber, Johanna, Ariel, Jules, Adam, Aaron, Dorothy, Cassandra, Tommy, Avery, Brittany, Tiffany, Whittney, Amy, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Willow, Danny, Brianna, Charlotte, Camryn, Corrine, Darrik, Aubrey, Grayson, Tristen, Baby Axton, Leelyn, Christopher, Bronx, Cainen, Audrey, Jonathon, Gabriella, Ava, Carlos, Sophia, and Orlando; and sister, Grace Bonsall (Danny).

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willen was preceded in death by her husband, Jay D. Willen; and siblings, Clifford, Jr., Hazel, Helen, Olie, Frank, and Joann.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 A.M. Interment will be in Elkton Cemetery.
