Glenn R. Blomquist, age 75 years 2 months and 26 days, of North East, MD, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 2, 1948, he was the son of the late Henry and Ethel Mason Blomquist.

Mr. Blomquist was a Vietnam War veteran having served in the U.S. Army as a field communications repairman. He retired after 35 years as a branch manager at Modern Equipment Rental in Wilmington, Delaware.

Survivors include his children, Wayne Blomquist (Paula), Rising Sun, MD, Jeff Blomquist (Melanie), North East, MD, Jason Blomquist (Holly), Earleville, MD, and Daniel Blomquist, North East, MD; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Sweeney, Sewell, NJ, Elaine McDowell, Lewes, DE, and Louise Eastburn (Bruce), Middletown, DE.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Blakeman and brother Roy Blomquist.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, July 3, 2023, at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2038 Pleasant Valley Road, Newark, DE, where visitation will begin at 10 A.M. Interment will follow the service in Bay View Cemetery, Bay View, MD.
