Gery Thomas Brooks, age 65, of North East, MD, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Born in Baltimore, MD, in 1956, he was the son of Eugenia M. Kaczmarek Brooks, and the late Anthony R. Brooks.

Mr. Brooks worked as a Commercial Real Property Assessor for the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed studying the Civil War, and Bible history.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Anthony J. Brooks, Jacksonville, FL, Rosemary "Bonni" Snyder, Pasadena, MD, and Timothy R. Brooks, Simpsonville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be private.
