Gerald Robert Goodchild Jr., 65, of Elkton, MD passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on November 15, 1958, he was raised in Elkton, MD and was the son of Gerald Goodchild Sr., Elkton, MD and Joyce Moore Pavlosky, Milford, DE.

Jerry was raised in Elkton dedicated many years of his life to the construction industry, where he retired as a skilled laborer. In his spare time, he found joy in restoring old cars and tractors.

Survivors include his sister Mildred Castro, Georgetown, DE; aunt, Mary Mackie, Elkton, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Monday, October 7, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
