Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Lee Bullock, 77, of Elkton, Maryland. Gerald passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on October 21, 2026.

Born in Elkton, Maryland, on July 20, 1949, Gerald was the son of the late George and Elsie Bullock.

Gerald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who put family at the center of his life. He will be remembered for his warm heart, quiet strength, and the countless ways he showed up for those he loved. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Gerald dedicated 37 years to G&S Contracting as a skilled carpenter and equipment operator before retiring. His craftsmanship lives on in the family home he built and in the home he built for his mother, both lasting reminders of his hard work and dedication.

Outside of work, Gerald enjoyed restoring classic cars, cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, and spending time with his beloved dog, Zoey. Above all, Gerald cherished the time he spent with family and friends.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Bullock; his children, Amy Jackson-Bullock (Lisa), Tammy Ward (Jimmy), Rodney Bullock (Carol), and Jerry Bullock (Michelle); his sister, Dolores Crouse (Keith); his grandchildren, Brandan Ward, Hudson Blackwell, Bethany Bullock, Tom Massimilla, and Sam Massimilla; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Bullock, and his grandson, Kraig Ward.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lauren Berger and Regan Missimer of Amedisys Home Hospice for the exceptional care, compassion, and support they provided over the past several months.

At Gerald's request, no funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gerald's memory to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute.
