Georgia Emily Cressman,75, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Born in Trenton, NJ on June 6, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Pauline Ferrence Moreton.

Mrs. Cressman grew up in Morrisville, PA and graduated from Pennsbury High School and East Stroudsburg University. She moved to Elkton and later retired from both Delaware Public Schools and Cecil County Public Schools as a teacher and had most recently taught at Bohemia Manor High School.

Georgia was a nature lover at heart, she also enjoyed crafting, stamping, cooking, and baking special birthday cakes for her family. She loved playing games, spending time with her family, going to the casino, visiting the Jersey shore, and enjoyed attending the Delaware Blue Hens sporting events with her husband and friends.

Georgia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, caring, compassion, and devotion to family will live through her husband, siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Scott F. Cressman; siblings, Arthur Moreton, Jr. (Marsha), Sanford, FL, and Pamela DiCicco (Chuck), Monmouth Junction, NJ; nieces, Jennifer and Jaimee Moreton; nephews, Tony and Nick DiCicco; and five great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Moreton.

Services will be private.
