Obituary

George “Vick” Allen Liller, 82, of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born in Braddock, PA on October 4, 1943, he was the son of the late George and Helen Barbe Liller.

Mr. Liller was a retired automotive maintenance supervisor. He dedicated many years of service to the automotive industry, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Local 404. Outside of work, Mr. Liller found great joy on the open road riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He also loved spending time with his faithful canine companion, Buck. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of motorcycles, and the special bond he shared with Buck. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Survivors include his children; Sheryl Jensen (Daniel), Griffith, IN and Jeffery Taylor (Delia), Appomattox, VA, stepchildren; Pamela Stephens, North East, MD, Robert Warden, West Deptford, NJ, James Warden, Ormond Beach, Fl, and Thomas McDonald, Elkton, MD, grandchildren; Tori Watson, Austin Cruz and Zackary Bedwell, great-grandchildren; Madison, Blake, Cole and Meadow, and brother; Roger Liller (Darlene), DeWitt, VA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife; Burnita Liller, and grandchildren; Nickolaus Bedwell and Taryn Taylor.

Funeral service with military honors will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA, in care of Hicks Home for Funerals at the above listed address.
