Frederick Lawrence Marshall, age 71, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. Born in Welch, WV, on July 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Isaac and Nanie Craft Marshall.

Mr. Marshall had been a Quality Control Inspector at Crane Corporation and previously worked for DuPont, Wilmington, DE. He was a local artist who loved gifting his paintings to friends.

Survivors include his children, Marcie Martin, Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Alex Dilks, New Castle, DE; grandson, Sebastian Martin; brother, Robert Marshall, Elkton, MD; and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his loving wife of 21 years, Mary Sue Gifford Marshall.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m.
