Frances Dora Wilson, 89, of Newark, DE, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Born in Ashe County, NC on May 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Olive Kilby Wilson.

Mrs. Wilson was an inspector at W.L. Gore and Associates for 23 years. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Wilson (Juanita), North Wilkesboro, NC, and Michael Wilson (Kim), Newark, DE; grandchildren, Michael Davis (Lisa) and Chad Wilson (Adrian); great-grandchildren, Natalie Davis, Ryan Davis, Isabelle Wilson, James Wilson, and Matthew Wilson; and sister, Mary Barlow, Kennett Square, PA.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Max John Wilson; brother, Worth Wilson; and sister, Irene Wilson.

Funeral service will be private with interment in White Clay Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, Newark.
