Frances Elizabeth Sherman, 80, of Elkton, MD passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Born on February 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Sr. and Ruth A. Biddle Anders.

Mrs. Sherman was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She was known for her sweet nature, kind heart, and relentless faith.  She was a member and Treasurer of Bohemia Wesleyan Church in Chesapeake City, MD. She enjoyed reading the Bible, prayer, gospel music, family and church gatherings, holidays, puzzle books, and ice cream.  She always reminded us to trust in the Lord and to love one another.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Donald Sherman, Sr.; children, Marilyn Combs (Brian Langhorne), Donald Sherman, Jr. (Kimberly), Susan Moretz (David), Randy Sherman, all of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Amy Combs, Kelly Combs, Sarah Combs, David Moretz; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Ann Pickron (Bob), Bristol, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy "Junior" Anders.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 West Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD.
