It is with deepest sorrow and regret that the family and friends of Frances Lorraine Schneider announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Born in Elkton, MD, on July 12, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Dorothy Magaw.

Throughout her life, Frances resided in Florida and California, but spent the better part of her life in Elkton, where she raised her family.

Frances previously worked for the Bell Telephone Company, Sears, and the Swiss Inn. A proud member of Elkton United Methodist Church, she was an avid reader, a former Girl Scout leader, and enjoyed shopping, camping, and vacationing at the beach. She cherished the memories she made traveling with her husband, and time spent with family. Frances was known for her caring and compassionate spirit and helped out friends and family whenever she could. She will be truly missed.

Frances is survived by her loving husband, Paul Schneider; son, Earl Lofthouse (Karen); daughter, Lynn Connell (Bill); grandchildren, Tony Rizzo, III, Edward Lofthouse, and Chelsea Parlier (Chris); great grandson, Anthony Rizzo IV; brothers, Charles Magaw (Sandy), Eddie Dyling (Linda), Gary Dyling (Sandy), and Allan Dyling (Carol); sisters, Donna Truitt and Ruth Ann Wharton; and brother-in-law, Wayne Feehly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Feehly, and Debbie Wunderlich; brother, Martin Magaw; brother-in-law, Robert Albacten; and sister-in-law, Doris Magaw.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
