Florence Marie McPherson Moore, affectionately known as "Ms. Cuddles", passed away, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home in Elkton, MD.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, on March 27, 1967, she was the daughter of Fannie Thomas McPherson, Newark, NJ, and the late LeRoy McPherson, Sr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeffrey M. Moore.

Ms. Cuddles valued family over everything. Spending time with her family was her life; her house was a home to all. Her smile will last in our memory forever.

In addition to her mother and husband, she was mom to seven children: Aisha Terry McPherson, Jersey City, NJ, Jeffrey Moore, Jr., Elkton, MD, Blake Marsh, Newark, DE, Darius McPherson, Elkton, MD, Jordan Moore, Elkton, MD, Lauren Marsh, Dover, DE, and Juwan McPherson, Austin, TX; sister, Harriet McQuarters, South Carolina; brothers, Eric McPherson, Newark, NJ, Leroy McPherson, Newark, NJ, Richard McPherson, Atlanta, GA, and Craig McPherson, Newark, NJ.

Grandmother to 15 beautiful babies, auntie to many, great auntie and friend to oh so many!

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2023 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Bohemia Manor Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD.
