Eugene Joseph Petrillo, age 87, of Newark, DE, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE, on September 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Arguido and Amelia Manucci Petrillo.

Mr. Petrillo retired after 60 years of working as a brick mason. A loving father and grandfather, he cherished spending time with his family. Mr. Petrillo enjoyed taking trips to Disney World, golfing, and bowling.

Survivors include his children, Mark, Michael (Lori), and Shelia Petrillo, all of Newark, DE; sister, Olga Christenson; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Petrillo was preceded in death by his wife, Shelvy Petrillo; and brother, Raymond Fillari.

Memorial service with interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE, will be private.
