Emily Lewis Carrico, 101, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. Born in Elkton, MD on February 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Henry Jr. and Florence Warren Lewis.

Mrs. Carrico had been a conservation research analyst for the federal government. Beyond her professional life, she was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church, had a passion for gardening, found enjoyment in solving puzzles, and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles.

Survivors include her children, Patricia C. Young (Ronald), Elkton, MD, and William A. Carrico (Nancy), Havre de Grace, MD; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, William S. Carrico; and all of her siblings.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 26, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
